Shannon drives the #18 Late Model Class car. He lives in Moweaqua, IL.

Team members helping Shannon are: Jay Hunt, Tommy Grecco and Ed Cutler. Clint Bowyer Racing is the car owner.

Shannon started racing in 1992 in the Modified Class at Macon Speedway. His first win was in that same year. Career highlights include 2002 Topless 100, 2003 Dirt Track World Champion, 2004 NARA Points Champion, 2005 UMP Summer Nationals Champion, 2006 UMP Summer Nationals Champion, 2006 Dirt Track World Champion.

The thrill of racing for Shannon is the speed and competition. His most exciting moment was winning the 2006 Dirt Track World Championship. He is most proud of his accomplishments.

Shannon's racing hero is his Dad.

Of racing, Shannon says, "It's fun!"
