Jimmy started racing in 2003 in the
600cc Micro Sprint Class at Linda's Speedway because his Dad got him
into Quarter Midgets and Jimmy just fell in love with the sport.
He started racing at age 1! His first win was in 2004 in the 600cc
Micro Sprint Class at Linda's Speedway. Career highlights include
8 Championships in Quarter Midgets, 6 wins in 600cc Micro Sprints, set
Fast Time at every track, won at Greenwood Valley with all the top
runners in the East Coast.
The thrill of racing for Jimmy is being
able to wrench on the car and know it's right and always finish well.
His most exciting racing moment was experiencing his first flip at
Silver Springs. He went from 32nd to 9th in 8 laps and someone hit
his right front tire and he went end over end. He's most proud of
being able to try things on his car and see faults and success.
"You do not learn anything by running the same!".
Jimmy's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt
Jr.
Of racing, Jimmy says, "It's a good and
competitive sport and it teaches you to think!".
