Douglas Rash drives the #8R 600cc Micro Sprint Class car.  His home track is Bridgeport Speedway.  He lives in Elkton, MD.

Team members helping Douglas are:  Charles Vlmer and George Vlmer.  Car owner is Douglas's uncle, Charles Vlmer.

Douglas started racing in 2006 in the 600cc Micro Sprint Class because of his family taking trips to the track every Saturday night, the thrill and excitement of it all.  Career highlights include his first race was on his birthday on 1/26/06.

The thrill of racing for Douglas is taking you and your machine to the edge.  His most exciting racing moment was the first time rolling onto the track. 

Douglas's racing hero is his cousin, George Vlmer.

Of racing, Douglas says, "First year racing and would like to thank my uncle for giving me the chance!".
