Jim Young drives the 600cc Micro Sprint Class car.  His home track is Path Valley Speedway but  he can also be found racing at Hill Valley Speedway and Trail-Way Speedway.  He lives in Johnstown, PA.

Team members helping Jim are:  Ed Cernic Jr., Fred Woodward, Dahc Holder, Ed and Greg Paul.

Jim started racing in 1989 in the 270cc Micro Sprint Class at Path Valley Speedway.  His first win was in 1994 in the 270cc Micro Sprint Class at Marion Center Speedway.  Career highlights include Marion Center Track Champion, Path Valley Track Champion, 1997 Tulsa Shootout Champion, 2 time Small Car National Champion and 2003 Valione Cup National Champion.

The thrill of racing for Jim is every time he races!  His most exciting racing moment is any time you race someone hard and clean - it doesn't matter if you won or lost.  It's just cool.  If you give your best every time, there's no better feeling.  He's most proud of the fact that 90% of the time he's at the track alone - "just the car and me - and that's about it".

Jim's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Jim says, "Go to a race.  If you like it the first time, you'll be hooked for life!".
