Johnny Anderson drives the #7a 360 Sprint Class car.  His home track is Knoxville Raceway.  He lives in Indianola, Iowa.

Team members helping Johnny are:  Jack Anderson (car owner), Nickie Anderson, Jenny Anderson, Kelley Anderson and Tyler Derrickson.

Johnny started racing in 2000 in the 360 Sprints Class at Knoxville Raceway because he was following in his Dad's footsteps  and those of his Grandpa's.  They are a racing family and they love it.  Johnny's first win was in 2005 in the 360 Sprints Class at Knoxville Raceway.  Career highlights include 2 Feature wins at Knoxville Raceway in 2005, 3rd place finish in the Points in 2005 at Knoxville Raceway, ASCS Midwest Season Championship Feature winner in 2005 and Knoxville Raceway's 2005 "360" Car Owner of the Year!

The thrill of racing for Johnny is controlling something that is out of control.  His most exciting racing moment was his first Feature win at Knoxville Raceway on May 21, 2005 and banging wheels with Sammy Swindell at the Short Track Nationals in Little Rock.  He's most proud of their 3 Feature wins because that is their goal in racing to win.  But, to get there takes teamwork.  Therefore he would say he's most proud of his crew.  They never give up!
