Ed Zehm drives the #41 Classic Class car.  His home track is Boone Speedway.  He lives in Ames, IA.

Team members helping Ed are:  Wife - Jane, Son - Bryan.  Special thanks to Rick Epperson - H&E Chassis of Total Performance, and  Saval Racing Engines which helped them get back into this class.

Ed started racing in 1992 in the Dwarf Class at Boone Speedway.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 3 Association Championships, 3 Track Championships, Rookie of the Year, 1 SWRA Asphalt Championship, several big races such as Punta Gorda (FL), Palatka (FL), Sedalia (MO) and 3 years straight of Dream Races at DesMoines Fairgrounds.

Of racing, Ed says, "We raced this class 9 years and went to an IMCA Modified that sucked the fun right out of racing.  I "retired" for 2 years, but didn't like watching, so came back to this class.  We have a great bunch of people in this class!".
