Sonny Conley

Sonny Conley drives the #1x1 Late Model Class car.  He lives in New Martinsville, WVA.  His home track is Tyler County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cannonball.

He started racing in 1991 in the Street Stock Class at Tyler County Speedway because his Dad raced.  His first win was in 1992 in the Street Stock Class at Lubeck in Parkersburg, WVA.  Career highlights include:  Track Championship Semi Late Model in 1995 & 1999 at Tyler County Speedway, Mountaineer 1000 Steel Black Late Model in 1995 at Elkins Motor  Speedway, Firecracker 40 Late Model 2011 at Tyler County Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Sonny is being able to go that fast.  His most exciting racing moment was rolling his car on its roof.  He's most proud of winning two Track Championships and the Firecracker 40.

Sonny's racing hero is his Dad.
