Steve Hillard late model #34is from
Sadorus, IL. Steve started his racing career in 1983 in the
street stock class. Steve’s first win came in his rookie
year at Danville. Steve started his racing career because his Dad, Alex
had raced and won so much he just had to try it! **
Steve’s racing then took him to
the modified division where he became the dominator, winning the Fairbury,
Farmer City, and Danville championships en-route to the U.M.P. NATIONAL
CHAMPIONSHIP in 1997.
In 1998 Steve moved to the
late model division. His greatest racin accomplishment was the 1997
season. Steve’s biggest thrill is being the only Illinois driver to make
The Million at Eldora. He won his heat race by a straightaway!
Tony Stewart is Steve’s racing
hero. Steve’s Masterbilt late model is powered by a Hixson 415. Steve’s
leading the NORTHERN ALL STARS LATE MODEL SERIES points and his goal is to
once again be the National Champion!!!!
