David Scott drives the #3 Late Model
Class car. His home track is Lernerville Speedway. He lives
in Garland, PA.
Team members helping David are:
Peterman family, Neuriter family, Brian Horner, and David's family has
helped and sacrificed a lot to better his racing career. Rick
Peterman is the car owner.
David started racing in 1987 in the
Capott Class at Stateline Speedway because his Dad raced for years.
It's in his blood. His first win was that same year. Career
highlights include 1995 won Red Neon 100 and Rookie of the Year in Late
Model, 2000 won Sprint Feature and Late Model Feature the same night at
Lernerville Speedway.
The thrill of racing for David is that
there are 10 lows for every high. But, starting in the back and
having a good run there is just something about pushing the
throttle down! His most exciting racing moment was the first time
he ever won. He's most proud of winning a lot of races and a lot
of Championships and they did it all with racing hard and racing fair.
David's racing hero is his Dad, Jim
Scott.
Of racing, David says, "It's a pretty
big waste of money, but it's better than drinking it away! The
fans and the people you meet racing are the best in the world!".
