Josh McGuire drives the #41 Late Model Class car.   His home track is Portsmouth Raceway Park but he can also be found racing at Rocky Top Raceway.  He lives in Ashland, KY.

Team members helping Josh are:  Wayne McGuire, Bob McGuire, Lowell McGuire, Drew Jones, Avez Bashadi, Nate and Dustin.

Josh started racing in 2001 in the Bombers Class at Portsmouth Raceway Park because it was the only thing he'd ever wanted to do.  He had never been to a dirt track until he bought a car as they always went to Mama's on Sundays and watched NASCAR.  His first win was in 2001 in the Bomber Class at Thunder Mountain Speedway.  Career highlights include 3 Bomber Championships - 2 at Portsmouth Raceway Park and 1 at Thunder Mountain Speedway, and his win his 5th night out in a Late Model.

The thrill of racing for Josh is winning.  His most exciting racing moment was his first Late Model win and his first DTWC start.  He's most proud of starting with nothing and making something.

Josh's racing hero is his uncle, Wayne McGuire who made a living racing from 1953-1967.
