Rusty Dixon drives the #97 Late Model Class car.  His home track is East Bay Raceway Park but he can also be found racing at Desoto Super Speedway.  He lives in Riverview, FL. 

Team members helping Rusty are:  Todd Yoakum, Dano Devine, Bobby Dixon (Dad), and Jimmy Dodge.  Bill Baker and Rusty Dixon are the car owners.

Rusty started racing in 1996 in the Limited Late Model Class at Desoto Super Speedway because his Dad races and Rusty has always loved the sport.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Rookie of the Year in 1996 and finishing 2nd in the Points in 2005 in Open Wheel.

The thrill of racing for Rusty is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was winning a Modified Race with his Father finishing 2nd.  He's most proud of his family.

Rusty's racing hero is his Dad.
