Steve Casebolt drives the #c9 Super Late Model Class car.  His home track is K-C Raceway but he also runs in the Lucas Oil Series.  He lives in Richmond, IN.

Steve started racing in 1986 in the Go Karts Class, Mods in 1995 and Late Models in 1996 at Florence Speedway in Kentucky because his Dad got him into Go Karts and Steve then wanted to do more....this is where it has taken him.  His first win was in 1997 in the Late Model Class at Findlay Speedway in Ohio.  Career highlights include winning at Elkins Speedway in Lucas Oil Series, winner of the Spring 50 at Florence Speedway in 2003, made World 100 a couple of times and 8th in the Dream.

The thrill of racing for Steve is the competition and trying to win!  His most exciting racing moment is anytime he can run side by side.  Any track he can race hard gets him going.  He's most proud of trying to race people the way they race him.  He tries to do everything fair.

Of racing, Steve says, "Dirt Late Model racing is not NASCAR!  It has it's own identity and doesn't want to be NASCAR!".
