Tim Senic drives the #s2 Super Late
Model Class car. His home track is Elkins Speedway but he can also
be found racing at Tyler County Speedway and Roaring Knob. He
lives in Elkins, WV.
Team members helping Tim are: Mike
Senic - brother, Tom Rogers - Engine, Rick Simmons and Anthony Tomaro -
Set up/chassis.
Tim started racing in 1996 in the
Limited Late Model Class at Elkins Speedway because of the
competition. He'd always been involved in athletics in school and
just started racing. His first win was in 1997 in the Limited Late
Model Class at Elkins Speedway. Career highlights include 2000
Super Late Model Track Championship at Elkins Speedway, which was his
first year running in that class, qualifying at Eldora the first time,
making Hill Billy 100 3 out of 3 times and winning multiple Features at
I-79 and Elkins Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Tim is the
competition. His most exciting racing moment was his first Super
Late Model win in 2000. He's most proud of the first time he went
to Eldora and qualified in top 100 cars.
Tim's racing hero is Denny Chamberlain.
Of racing, Tim says, "Appreciate how
much work goes into the cars!".
