Rick Eckert drives the #24 Lat Model Class car. He lives in Pa. His home track is  Hagerstown Speedway.

Team members helping Rick are: Chad Curran, Bob Miller, and Harry Edie. Raye Vest is the car owner.

He started racing in 1979 in Fig 8 Class at Trailways Speedway because his whole family races, Dad, Mom and Sister. His first win was in 1980 in Fig 8 Class. Career highlights include Dirt Track World Champion, Dream, national 100 twice, Scorcher 100, 2 time UDTRA Champion, USA Nationals, East Bay Fall Nationals, and Mountain Momma.

Rick's most exciting moment was winning the Dream. He is most proud that he was able to accomplish being a fun time race car driver. He is also very proud of his 2 National Championships.

His racing heroes are his Dad and Dale Sr.

Of racing, Rick says, "You need to come out and experience a race. It is a good family sport!"
