Josh began racing in 2004 in Late Model at Bardstown, KY. because racing is all he knows. His first win was in 2005 in the World of Outlaws Late Model Class in Lebanon Valley, NY. Career highlights include 2005 World of Outlaw Rookie of the Year, made DREAM !)) and World 100 on his first attempt, multiple WoO Wins, 2007 2nd in Dirt Track World Championships, 2007 Florida Dirt Car Nationals Champion, 2007 Pittsburgher, and 2007 60th Anniversary Hagerstown.

The thrill of racing for Josh is winning. His most exciting moment was at the 2nd World 100 in 2006 where he placed 4th. He is most proud of having the opportunity to run the equipment he has and the help behind him.

Josh's racing hero is his Dad, Mark Richards.
