John Lobb drives the #1 Late Model Class
car. His home track is Stateline Speedway. He lives in
Frewsburg, NY.
John started racing in 1986 in the
Specton Class at Stateline Speedway because it's in the family history.
His first win was in '88 in the Cadett Class at Erie Speedway.
Career highlights include winning Stars Race in '99, lots of traveling
shows.
The thrill of racing for John is the
excitement and competition. His most exciting racing moment was
when he and Dick Barton ran door to door for 30 laps 3 weeks in a row.
They are teammates now! He's most proud of his family. They
don't have big backing and they have 35 wins to their credit.
Of racing, John says, "Get out and
support it. It is the most exciting think on earth!".
