 Kurt Kile

Kurt Kile drives the #77 Late Model Class car.  His home track is West Liberty Raceway.  He lives in Nichols, IA.

Team members helping Kurt are:  Adam Heitman, Steve Rundall, Cory Phillips, Bob Conoway, Doug Yates.  Eldon Kile (Kile Motorsports) is the car owner.

Kurt started racing in 1992 in the Hobby Stock Class at Columbus Junction Speedway because his Father had been involved with racing most of his life.  It is in their blood.  His first win was in '93 in the Hobby Stock Class at Cedar County Speedway.  Career highlights include winning the Championship Points at West Liberty Raceway in '06 and all the Features he's won.

The thrill of racing for Kurt is putting on his helmet and knowing he's going to compete with some of the best racers around.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first race at West Liberty Raceway when he had the National Champ, Gary Webb, right behind him.  He's most proud of being competitive.

Kurt's racing heroes are any drivers that have raced on dirt!

Of racing, Kurt says, "If you don't come down to your local race track every weekend, you don't know what you're missing!".
