 Stormy Scott

#2s

Stormy Scott drives the #2s USMTS Modified Class car.  His home track is SNM Speedway but he can also be found racing at El Paso Speedway Park.  He lives in Woodward, OK.

Team members helping Stormy are:  Jacob, Rob.  Bryan Rowland is the car owner.

Stormy started racing in 2000 in the Go Karts class at SNM Speedway because he wanted to do something besides ride horses.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2000 Jr 1 Champion, Modified Champion in '07, '09 $5,000 to Win in California, '10 won 15 races, '11 won 23 races, '12 15,000 King of America Champion and USMTS Rookie of the Year, '13 10 USMTS wins, Central Region Champion.

The thrill of racing for Stormy is the speed and knowing sometimes he can control the outcome.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won the King of America in '12.  He's most proud that he's out doing what he loves for a living.

Stormy's racing hero is Steve Kinser.

Of racing, Stormy says, "That it's hard work and not all fun and games but if it's your dream to race for a living, work hard at it and maybe you will end up doing it for a living!".

His favorite racing websites are www.dirtondirt.com and www.racinboys.com
