Claud Estes races the #74E sprinter out of
Godley, TX H. D. Miller is the car owner.
Claud started racing in 1983 in the Street
Stock division at Cowtown Speedway. he got his start in racing when his
dada took the family to the races. When he and his brother were old
enough, they got their own race car.
Claud's first win came in the street
Stocks in 1983. His career highlights include: 1998 & 1999 wins as the
modified NASCAR champion, the 2001 IMCA Sprint Car champion at Heart 'O
Texas, and won the first ASCS race held at H.O.T. in 2008.
Claud's thrill of racing comes from racing
on a different surface at every race event. His most exciting moment was
winning the ASCS event at H.O.T.
Claud is most proud of the people and
racers he has met along the way, and enjoys the camaraderie.
