Joe Wood Jr. drives the #03 360cc ASCS Class car.  His home track is State Fair Speedway.  He lives at Oklahoma City, OK.

Team members helping Joe are:  David Brewer, Ray Washemer, Allen Crawford.  Joe's family owns the car.

Joe started racing in 2002 in the Sprint Class car at State Fair Speedway because his family has always been in racing.  He is a 4th generation driver!  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 3 wins ASCS Sooner and 2 local wins.

The thrill of racing for Joe is watching and listening to the fans.  His most exciting racing moment was this year ('08) at Lawton, OK.  Joe turned over on the first lap, came in the pits, fixed what they could, started on the back and raced back to finish 2nd!  It felt just as good as winning! 

Joe's racing hero is his Dad, Joe Wood Sr.
