Chad Corken

Chad Corken drives the #11 360 Sprint
Class car. He races on ASCS tracks and I-76 Speedway. He lives
in Highlands Ranch, CO.
Team members helping Chad are: Bill
Goebel, Clint Corken, Scott Kiffin, Rich Corken, Gary Tuten. Jay and
Deb Corken are the car owners.
Chad started racing in 2003 in the Go
Karts Tag Jr. Class at Bandamere IMI because he'd gone to IMI Motor Cycle
race and saw Go Carts and here he is! His first win was in '02 in the Go
Karts Tag Jr. Class at Bandimere. Career highlights include Go Karts
State Champion in Colorado in '03, Go Karts '03 Infineon Red Bull
Challenge where out of 200 drivers, Chad qualified 8th, raced with ASCS
Sprint Car Rocky Mountain Region for 2 years.
The thrill of racing for Chad is speed,
going fast is the best thrill ever and just having fun with it is the most
important. His most exciting racing moment was July 21, when
he won the B Main, running away with it and in the A Main, starting 18th
finished 10th. He's most proud of just getting the chance to drive a
360 Sprint Class car and be successful with it. Racing is what he
loves to do and it will always be.
Chad's racing hero is Danny Lasoski.
Of racing, Chad says, "It gets your heart
going and it's fun, fast, exciting, close wheel to wheel action!".
