Bruce Griffith drives the #17 Sprint Class car.  His home track is Houston Raceway Park but he can also be found racing with ASCS Gulf South Region.  He lives in Highlands, TX.

Team members helping Bruce are:  Ricky Tankersley, Chuck Johnson, Jared Matlock, Channin Tankersley, Tim Courmier, Troy Tankersley, Berry Traylor, Bubba Traylor.  Ricky Tankersley Racing is the car owner.

Bruce started racing again in '09 in the Sprint Class at Golden Triangle Speedway because he was sponsoring Channin Tankersley in #71 car.  Bruce's first was was in '82 in the Sprint class at Big H Speedway and Cowtown Speedway.  Career highlights include Knoxville Nationals in '85 finishing 4th in the C Main at World of Outlaws. 

The thrill of racing for Bruce is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was leading World of Outlaws show at Big H Speedway 17 laps out of 20 in '85.  He's most proud of people they've met along the way.

Bruce's racing hero is Ricky Lee Tankersley AKA Carl.
