Dan Adkins drives the #22A ASCS Sprint Class car.  He lives in Amarillo, TX.

Team members helping Dan are:  Kevin Mitchell. 

Dan started racing in 1997 in the Sprint Class at Amarillo Speedway.  He had raced Motorcycles from age 6 to 30 years.  He got to old for Motorcycles!  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include finishing every race two years in a row.

The thrill of racing for Dan is the speed and time spent with friends.  His most exciting racing moment was racing in Astrodome at age 16 on Motorcycles.  He's most proud of racing something since he was 6 years old.

Dan's racing hero is his Dad. 

Of racing, Dan say, "Better than football!".
