Ray Allen Kulhanek drives the #5 ASCS Sprint Class car.  He lives in Magnolia, TX. 

Team members helping Ray are:  Dad, Tony, Jason, Dubby, Richard, Grandparents.  Jeff Wagner and Ray Allen Kulhanek are the car owners.

Ray started racing in 1997 in the Hobby Stock Class at Texas Thunder Speedway because he comes from a racing family.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include '97 & '98 Track Champion Hobby Stock Class, '02 & '03 Track Champion at Gator Motorplex and 105 Speedway, Rookie of the Year, '04 ASCS finished 4th in the Points and Most Improved Driver, '05 ASCS Gulf South Champion and Hard Charger of the Year, over 200 Feature wins.

The thrill of racing for Ray is just the competition and speed and how everyone is like a family.  His most exciting racing moment was becoming ASCS Champion in '05 and finally winning the Texas Grand after trying for 10 years.  He's most proud of winning Big Shows in his Dad's car for him!

Ray's racing heroes are his Grandpa and Tony Stewart.
