Channin Tankersley drives the #71 Sprint Class car.  He lives in Highlands, TX.

Team members helping Channin are:  Ricky Tankersley, Chuck Johnson, Jared Matlock.  Ricky Tankersley is the car owner.

Channin started racing in 1995 in the 50cc Motorcycle Class at Highlands because his Father had raced for decades and decided to quit and get Channin into it.  Career highlights include winning the John Bankston Memorial.  The Super Series Championship, won 10 races in '05, made the Feature at the Short Track Nationals.

The thrill of racing for Channin is the challenge.  His most exciting racing moment was coming from the back of the A Main to win his first race.  He's most proud of all the support his friends and family give even when times are bad.

Channin's racing heroes are Jac Hauderchild, Damion Gardner.
