Ray Welnack drives the #16 Sprint Class car.  He races SST Tracks.  He lives in Mesquite, TX.

Team members helping Ray are:  Richard Behrend, Willie Behrend, Joanne Welnack. 

Ray started racing in 1965 in the Super Mod Class at Devil's Bowl Speedway because he enjoyed the sport.  His first win was in Super Mod at the Old Devil's Bowl Speedway.  Career highlights include IMCA Texas Championship in '03, Track Championship in'03 at Belmead Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Ray is winning.  He's most proud of his IMCA Texas State Championship in '03.
