Danny Merrell drives the #47 Sprint Class
car. He lives in Springtown, TX.

Danny started racing in 1980 in the Late
Model Class at Cowtown Speedway because of the family tradition with Mom
and Dad both racing. His first win was in '82 in the Late Model
class at Sportsdrome Speedway. Career highlights include his first
Modified win.
The thrill of racing for Danny is
winning. His most exciting racing moment was Figure 8 Race when he
was 16 years old. He's most proud of his Modified wins.
Danny's racing heroes are his Mom and
Dad, Mary and David Merrell.
