David Chappell drives the #50 Old Modifieds Sprints Class car.  He races with the World of Outlaws Series.  He lives in Talasa, OK.

David started racing in 1979 in the Mod Sprints Class at Tulsa Speedway because he loved it.  His first win was in 1981 in the Mod Sprints Class at Tulsa Speedway.  Career highlights include Championships in the 100" Sprint Class in 1990, '91, '92.

The thrill of racing for David is teaching is kids and others driving.  His most exciting racing moment was Zach 2001 ASCS National Championship.  He's most proud of being Top 360 Crew Chief in '01. 

David's racing hero is Zach Chappell.
