Leon is 56 years old and from the racing Gentry  family of Henderson Ky. Paragon is his home track but he runs every where with the Midwest Sprint Series.

Leon started racing in 1962 in a sprint car. He grew up around racing so he just had to.  He got his first win at Twilight Speedway in Hopkinsville Ky., his rookie year.

He was 4 the in USAC points in 1983 and 6th in 1984.  He was third in the points at Tri-State speedway in 1986.

The car is a Competition Welding  car

Don Branson is his racing hero.

As many races as Leon has won the says the biggest thrill in racing is to watch his sons do good through out the years.

Goals : To race my 40th season next year Clean.

Karl and Steve Kinser and my two sons Donnie and Chris have helped.

Quote: "The whole family has always been involved in racing and that means a lot."
