Last Call for the Rumble in the Hills / North Carolina 200 Entry Form as the 2008 racing season is here!

Lexington, Michigan (03/10/2008): The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts 2008 racing season is here! "America's Premiere Short Track Series" is ready to kick off their Sixth season of exciting racing action this weekend!

The 2008 ASALMS Challenge Division Season Opener is the Rumble in the Hills / North Carolina 200 this Friday and Saturday, March 14-15, 2008 at the 0.410 Mile Semi-Banked Paved Oval of the Tri-County (NC) Motor Speedway, located just 15 miles Northwest of Hickory and Northeast of Asheville in Hudson, North Carolina.

Joining the ASALMS Challenge Division in the Tar Heel State will be Tri-County Support Divisions of Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks. The Rumble in the Hills / North Carolina 200 Entry Form is still available and is due at the ASALMS Home Offices in Lexington, Michigan by TODAY Monday, March 10, 2008 to avoid late fees.

To kick off the weekend on Friday, March 14, 2008, Randy LaJoie and his company, The Joie of Seating will be on hand with the "Safer Racer Tour." The Joie of Seating will have a display set up in the pit area and LaJoie himself will be in attendance!

The Two-Time NASCAR Busch (Now Nationwide) Series Champion will be available throughout the day answering questions and helping out any driver on hand with concerns about belts, seats, safety gear, and anything else related to the cockpit of their race car.

<b><i>In addition, at 9:00a.m., (EST) on Saturday, March 15, 2008 the ASALMS will be hosting a Special Press Conference inside the Tri-County Motor Speedway V.I.P./Press Box to make some big announcements regarding the rest of the 2008 ASALMS Challenge Division Schedule.</i></b>

2. Renegade / Kibbi LLC returns to the fold as the Official Motor Homes and Trailers of the ASA Late Model Series.

Lexington, Michigan (03/10/2008): The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts is full steam ahead toward the 2008 season. The days continue to count down in each of the respective ASALMS divisions for all four season openers.

The cities of Hudson, North Carolina (Challenge-March 14-15), Bronson, Florida (Southern-March 28-29), and Toledo, Ohio (Northern and USPRO April 11-12) are all anxiously awaiting an ASALMS invasion as the entire ASALMS family continues to make final preparations before the official start of the new season!

New and returning sponsors continue to finalize agreements with "America's Premiere Short Track Series" as they all are making the effort to be a part of the Lexington, Michigan-based series. One more well known business has stepped up to the plate for the upcoming 2008 season in support of the ASALMS in a huge way!

Renegade / Kibbi LLC, the leading builder of Motor Homes and Trailers have partnered up with the ASALMS once again for the 2008 racing season as the "Official Motor Homes and Trailers of the ASALMS."

3. Meet Dennis Rederstorf....

Lexington, Michigan (03/10/2008): Several drivers with intentions on running for the 2008 USPRO Cup Series Championship and / or Rookie of the Year title have recently been featured in the "Meet the ASA Late Model Series Teams" segment on the series' websites.

In an effort to get to know each and every one of the pilots who will call the ASALMS and USPRO Cup Series home for the upcoming 2008 season, the ASALMS have been featuring 2008 registered teams within the four divisions of the Lexington, Michigan-based series in a unique and relaxed setting.

This new and exciting feature has been very popular over the last several months as an overwhelming number of teams have contacted the ASALMS Home Offices in Lexington, Michigan on how to be featured on this new and very popular feature.

Michigan driver, Dennis Rederstorf will be the featured driver. A longtime competitor in the Outlaw Bodied Super Late Models and Limited Late Model ranks throughout the state of Michigan, Rederstorf will make his first foray into the world of a traveling series in 2008.

The Firefighter by trade will make a run for both the 2008 USPRO Cup Series Championship and Rookie of the Year title beginning at the Toledo (OH) Speedway in Toledo, Ohio on Friday and Saturday, April 11-12, 2008 in the running of the Welcome Back / Glass Breaker 75.
