Palmetto Auto Auction Results at Florence Motor Speedway April 13th Timmonsville, SC (April 13, 2008) – It was another exciting Sunday afternoon of racing with the Palmetto Auto Auction 250 at Florence Motor Speedway. Jon Lane brought a beautiful red, Grahams Real Estate Monte Carlo to the speedway to qualify the fastest and then went on to lead all fifty laps of the John Newsome GM Superstore Late Model feature. Last weeks feature winner, Averitt Lucas of Manning; was second fastest and came in second this week. Averitt’s brother, Brent made his first appearance at the speedway in the Street Stock class and the family went home celebrating his first win! Kevin Jackson redeemed himself this week with a win in the Stock 4 Cylinder feature after a great battle with T.J. White and Leon Vinson. Russ Turner Jr. scored his second in a row win in the Young Guns feature. Races continue next Sunday afternoon, April 20th with race time moving to 3:00 pm. Feature events will include the John Newsome GM Super Store Late Models, Action Ford Super Stocks, Stock 4 Cylinders, Street Stocks and Young Guns.
