Modified Class car. She lives in Alleman, IA. Her home track
is Boone Speedway but she can also be found racing at Iowa State
Fairgrounds and Southern Iowa Speedway.
She started racing in 1999 in the Hobby

could enjoy together. Her first win was in 2002 in the Hobby Class
at Boone Speedway. Career highlights include: 2002 Polester
IMCA Super Nationals in Hobby Stocks. She was the first woman, in

The thrill of racing for Melissa is the
competition and the need for speed! Her most exciting racing moment
was her first Feature win. She's most proud of the things her
husband and she can accomplish together.
Dale Earnhardt is Melissa's racing hero.
Of racing, Melissa says, "You have to race
one time to even experience the thrill!".
