Troy Kingsbury

Troy Kingsbury drives the #16K Modified Class car.  He lives in Smith Center, KS.  His home track is Elmwood Park Speedway at Norton, KS but he can also be found racing at Rook's County Speedway and WaKeeney Speedway.

He started racing in 1982 in the Street Stock Class at Osborne Speedway because he loved cars and the sport.  His first win was that same year.  Troy has won several Championships at several tracks.

The thrill of racing for Troy is the fun and thrill of the sport.  He's most proud of starting from the bottom and working his way up through the divisions.

Dale Earnhardt is Troy's racing hero.

Of racing, Troy says, "You have a lot of ups and lot of lows but don't ever give up .....what goes around comes around!".
