Rob Thies drives the #37 Modified Class car.  He lives in Ankeny, IA.  His home track is Boone Speedway.

He started racing in 1994 in the Modified Class at Boone Speedway for fun.  His first win was in 1998 in the Modified Class at Eldora, IA.  In 2002 Rob won a Feature at Boone Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Rob is the challenge.  His most exciting racing moment was the win at Boone Speedway of which he is most proud.

Dale Earnhardt is Rob's racing hero.
