Tommy Belmer

Tommy Belmer drives the #43B Modified Class car.  He lives in Waterloo, IA.  His home track is Cresco Speedway but he can also be found racing at Echo Valley Speedway.

He started racing in 1987 in the Hobby Stock Class at West Union, IA. because it kept him out of trouble.  His first win was that same year. 

The thrill of racing for Tommy is the rush of adrenaline.  His most exciting racing moment was running a race door to door 10 laps with Mark Noble.  He's most proud of the fact that he is known as a racer's gentleman.

Richard Petty is Tommy's racing hero.

Of racing, Tommy says, "Takes an extreme amount of time to get the cars on the track!".
