Robert Shepard drives the #51 Modified Class car.  He lives in Ogden, KS.  His home track is Salina Speedway but he can also be found racing at Beatrice Speedway.

He started racing in 1998 in the Modified Class at Salina Speedway because he hot lapped one.  His first win was in 1999 in the Modified Class at Salina Speedway.  Robert has had 4 Feature wins, one big show win in 2002 and 2 Heat wins at Super Nationals.

The thrill of racing for Robert is being on the gas and nothing but checks.  His most exciting racing moment is when the car is working perfectly and he's out front!  He's most proud of anytime he's in lead!

Lyle Shepard is Robert's racing hero.
