Barry Wangsness

Barry Wangsness drives the #66J Stock Class car.  He lives in Northwood, IA.  His home track is Fairmont Raceway but he can also be found racing at Mason City I-35.

He started racing in 1999 in the Stock Car Class at Fairmont Raceway because he loves to have fun and it's a great sport.  His first win was in 2003 in the Stock Car Class at Fairmont Speedway.  He lead the entire race for that win.

The thrill of racing for Barry is the speed and the challenge of winning.  His most exciting racing moment was during his 2nd win where he passed 6 cars in order to get that win.  He's most proud of seeing improvement every year.

Toot - Jr. Johnson are Barry's racing heroes.
