Mike Wichman drives the #7w Modified Class car.  He lives in Silver Lake, KS.  His home track is Lakeside Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunderhill Speedway.

He started racing in 1987 in the Street Stock Class at Topeka Raceway at the result of a brain fart.  His first win was in 1990  in the Modified Street Stock at Topeka Raceway.  His career highlight was winning the last Feature of the year at Topeka Raceway but coming two points short of Point Championship!

The thrill of racing for Mike is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was the Feature win at the Hutchinson State Fair.  He's most proud of every time the checkered flag comes out and he's still on the track!

Dale Earnhardt is Mike's racing hero.
