Model Class car. His home track was Friendship Speedway but now is
the SAS Carolina Clash Series. He lives in Millers Creek, NC.

Crew Chief - Tommy Lankford, Richard Curtis, Zachary Lankford and Keisha
Dooley.
Roger
would like to thank Ronald
Blankenship and Larry Blankenship.
He started racing in 1994 in the 4
Cylinder class at Friendship Speedway because his Dad always loved
racing and Roger had wanted to race since he was 5 years old. His
first win was in 1998 in the Limited Late Model Class at Friendship
Speedway. Career highlights include making the 1989 Daytona 500 as
a Crew member for the late J.D. McDuffie. Roger's first win was
Labor Day Monday night race. Finishing 2nd in the Points in 1998,
ran 2 less races and than the Champion.
The thrill of racing for Roger is the
competition, trying to out think the other guy! His most exciting
racing moment was his daughter, Keisha, falling asleep, holding the
Labor Day Trophy, on the way home. He's most proud of he and
his brother, Tommy, being able to win races win a lot less money, being
competitive and earning respect from my fellow drivers.
Roger's racing heroes are Richard Petty
and J.D. McDuffie.
Of racing, Roger says, "It's a good
family sport and it's all I've ever wanted to do!".
