Chris Reed

#911

Chris Reed drives the #911 Crate Late Model Class car.  His home track is Columbus Speedway but he can also be found racing at Whynot Speedway, Pineridge Speedway, Central Mississippi Speedway and Swinging Bridge Raceway.  He lives in Sturgis, MS.

Team members helping Chris are:  Joe Reed, family and friends.  Joe Reed - Father is the car owner.

Chris started racing in 2002 in the Two Man Cruiser Class at Columbus Speedway because all of his friends had race cars.  His first win was in '02 in the Two Man Cruiser at Kosciusko Speedway.  Career highlights include 2 Feature wins in Crusier, 3 Feature wins in Late Models, lots of Heat Race wins and Top 5 Features.

The thrill of racing for Chris is to be able to go first without breaking any laws and to please the fans.  His most exciting racing moment was starting 24th in a 20 lap race at Magnolia Speedway and finishing 2nd.  He's most proud of God, giving him the ability to drive and win.

Chris's racing heroes are Tony Stewart and Chris's Father, Joe Reed.

Of racing, Chris says, "That you have to be patient, practice and learn all you can about the sport.  It's not easy, but anybody with the drive to win and money to get them there, can do it!".

Chris's favorite racing websites are www.LuvRacin.com and www.midsouthracingscene.com
