Kyle LaPier drives the #12 Legends Pro
Class car. His home track is Rockford Speedway but he can also be
found racing at Grundy County Speedway. He lives in Belvidere, IL.

Kyle started racing in 1998 in the Go
Karts Class at Sugar River Raceway because his family raced Late Models
and Short Trackers. His first win was in 1999 in the Go Karts
Class at Sugar River Raceway. Career highlights include 2004
Rockford Speedway Champion, Grundy County Speedway Champion, Burris
Bando Young Guns Junior Pro Series Champion, Illinois State Champion,
'05 8 wins in Legends car, '06 Rockford Speedway Champion, Grundy County
Speedway Champion, 11 wins, finished 9th National Touring Series Points,
finished 18th National Pro Points.
The thrill of racing for Kyle is when
you make a move to pass someone coming out of the corners. His
most exciting racing moment was finishing 3rd at Elko Speedway in a
National Touring Series Race against 29 other drivers. He's most
proud that their team is a family operation and they work on their car
themselves and don't hire people.
Kyle's racing hero is Mark Martin.
