Donovan Ponder drives the #8 Young Guns Class car.  His home track is Orlando Speedworld but he can also be found racing at Lowes Motor Speedway and Kil-Kane Speedway.  He lives in Orlando, FL.

Team members helping Donovan are:  Scott Ponder, Kim Ponder, Amanda Ponder, Gerald White, Josh Williams, Russ Thompson.  Kim Ponder is the car owner.

Donovan started racing in 2003 in the Bandolero Class at Orlando Speedworld because he watched racing since he was born.  His first win was August 11 in the Bandolero Bandits Class at Orlando Speedworld.  Career highlights include his win at Orlando on August 11 where he received a trophy taller than 4 feet 5 inches.

The thrill of racing for Donovan is driving at a young age.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won and got the big trophy.  He's most proud of driving good.

Donovan's racing hero is Mark Martin.
