Hal started racing in 1960 in the
Quarter Midget Class at Terre Haute IN. F.O.P. because his Dad wanted
him to. His first win was in 1962 in the Quarter Midget Class at
Terre Haute IN. Career highlights include 1989, '90, '91 Track
Champion at Sullivan Speedway in 250 Class, 1991 Fast Time at NMMA
Nationals at Peru, IN., 3 Go Kart National Championships.
The thrill of racing for Hal is out
running or winning against more high dollar teams. He's most proud
of his Fast Times and winning Championships.
Hal's racing hero is his Dad, Paul
Orndorff.
