Bub Patrick

Bub Patrick drives the #25 UMP Modified Class car.  His home track is Shadyhill Speedway but he can also be found racing at Hartford Speedway Park, Gas City Speedway and Benton County Speedway.  He lives in San Pierre, IN.

Team members helping Bub are:  Clayton Auble, David Trenner, Keith Williams. 

Bub started racing in 1981 in the Hobby Stock Class at Shadyhill Speedway because it looked like fun.  His first win was in 1987 in the Hobby Stock class at Shadyhill Speedway.  Career highlights include 1988 and 1991 Hobby Stock Track Champion at Shadyhill Speedway, 1994 IMCA Modified Champion at Shadyhill Speedway, 1996 Modified Champion at Gas City Speedway, 1997 Modified Champion at Kokomo, 1997 Modified Champion at Benton County Speedway, 1998 Modified Champion at Benton County Speedway, 2005 Modified Champion at Hartford Speedway Park.

The thrill of racing for Bub is the competition and the fun.  His most exciting racing moments have been many in over 20 years of racing.  The most is when you run side by side with somebody for the lead.  He's most proud that Hoosier Tire called and Bub did testing for a new Modified tire in 2005. 

Of racing, Bub says, "The racing family is some of the nicest people I've met in my life!".
