Hey racefans I left some things out of
my last article that I wanted to talk about. The
IOFS The International Outlaw Figure 8 Series 2010
Schedule is released with races planned at two new
tracks added to the schedule this year. Kilkare (OH)
Speedway in Xenia,Ohio and Columbus (OH) Speedway
have each scheduled IOFS races for this season.
Kilkare Speedway has seen the Outlaw Figure 8 type
car in years past with an America's Figure 8
Challenge event held there years ago. I have never
seen a figure 8 race at Kilkare and I am very
excited about this one! Kilkare Speedway does not
have a regular weekly Figure 8 Division. Years ago
Kilkare had a pure stock class that would run a
figure 8 feature on Friday Nights. The IOFS puts on
a whale of a show and they are expecting a few more
drivers this year to run the entire 2010 schedule.
Columbus (OH) Speedway is a 1/3rd mile semi-banked
oval that installed a Figure 8 track originally to
host the wild and woolly school bus figure 8 races
and train figure 8 races. I encourage you racefans
that have never seen an outlaw figure 8 race to
attend some IOFS events in your area.I guarantee you
will not be dissapointed with the high speed
crossover action that the IOFS Series provides!
Below is the 2010 IOFS International Outlaw Figure 8

moving pace and the four racing divisions always
have decent car counts to keep you entertained.
Kokomo (IN) Speedway

Sprints,Street Stocks and Thundercars. I am gonna
try to make a few shows at Kokomo during the 2010

at Gas City Speedway on Fridays turn around and race
Sundays at Kokomo (IN) Speedway. The UMP Modified
Division will make monthly appearances at Kokomo
during this season.
Bloomington Speedway

and UMP Modifieds. General Admission is $12 and Pit
bands are $25.00.
Lawrenceburg (IN)
Speedway reopens Saturday April 10th featuring Non
Wing Sprints,Modifieds and Pure Stocks. I still have
yet to see a race at Lawrenceburg with the new
track. It seems like everytime I think about going
there is a race closer to home here in
Indianapolis.I really need to get to Lawrenceburg as
I keep hearing there facilities and new track are
second to none.
Paragon (IN) Speedway
does not have there 2010 Schedule complete but I do
know there opening night is Saturday April 24th with
Non Wing Sprints,Street Stocks,Bombers and Pure
Stocks.

with Non Wing Sprints,Modifieds,Super Stocks and

Montpelier (IN) Motor

Stocks and a Road Hog division running each week.
Baer Field (IN)
Speedway opens Saturday May 15th with Napa Late
Models,Modifieds,Street Stocks,Mini Stocks,FWD and a
new Fun Stock Division. The International Gold Cup
100 is a race that I am gonna finally try and make
this year. I took a vacation day from work so as
long as the weather is dry I should be at this
event! I hope this schedule helps you out! Gotta go
see you at the races!
