I hope everyone had a very nice Memorial Day Holiday Weekend.  Saturday Night the races were rained out at the following tracks ,Anderson,Mt. Lawn,Baer Field and Shady Hill (IN) Speedway. The Little 500 Sprint car race was run Sunday Night with Chris Windom at 20 years of age taking his 1st ever win at Anderson in the Little 500 event. Chris passed Eric Gordon for the lead with just  afew laps to and was able to hold on for the win. Congrats to Chris Windom and his crew and race team.

 

This was my 1st ever Little 500 and I was impressed with the three wide start of the race. I sat in turn four at Anderson and that is an awesome view of those fast sprints coming into turn four. It was a greta race I may go back next year asmy friend Rick really enjoyed his 2st ever Little 500 as well.

 

This Saturday June 4th is the JEGS CRA All Star Tour Late Models at Anderson Speedway for 100 laps of green flag action off the high banks of Anderson. the support classes will be Figure 8s,Front Wheel Drive Oval Division,Thunder Roadsters and Bandoleros. Mt Lawn Speedway is hosting there Rescheduled May 5-0 Night featuring 50 lap features in Late Models,Thundercars and Hornets pn Saturday June 4th .

 

I had a great  time at my very 1st Little 500. It was the biggest crowd I have ever seen at Anderson Soeedway.
