Wow! That is all I can say racefans as Jeff Lane from Knightstown,Indiana won the Sealwrap 125 for CRA Super Series Late Models Saturday Night at Anderson Speedway. This was career start 200 for Jeff as he was presented an award for being the first driver to achieve 200 career feature starts in Champion Racing association competition. Congratulations goes out to Jeff on this milestone award and also winning the Sealwrap 125!

 

Jeff Lane held off a hard charging Mason Mingus and Terry Fisher Jr. to win what was an awesome race with the double file restarts creating alot of side by side paint swapping action. I cannot wait to see these fast and furious super late models tackle Winchester Speedway with double file restarts this season!

 

Mt. Lawn (IN) Speedway will open this Saturday Night May 14th with Spring Fan Appreciation Night.  Spring fan appreciation night will have $5.00 general admission and $1.00 hot dogs in the concession stand. An on track autograph and photo session will be at 7pm with racing at 7:30 PM.

 

Anderson Speedway will have the CRA Late Model Sportsman Series returning  for round number two along with Figure 8's,Legends,Thunder Roadsters and Bandoleros. on Saturday May 14th.

 

Union County (IN) Speedway is running Friday May 13th with Late Models,Modifieds,Super Stocks,Road Hogs and Hornets.The season opener at Union County Speedway was canceled due to rain. Union County is a high banked 3/8 mile dirt track in Liberty,Indiana.Fpr more info. on Union County Speedway go to www.unioncountyspeedway.com .

 

Gas City (IN) Speedway hosts KISS King of Indiana Sprint Series along with Modifieds,Street Stocks and Thundercars. I have seen some great racing at Gas City Speedway alonmg with great car counts in all four divisions! I always have a great time at fan friendly Gas City Speedway. I may spend both my floating holidays from work on Fridays at Gas City Speedway. The Modifieds and Street Stocks are my two favorite classes at the track. The concession stand pricing is really reasonable as well. You owe it to yourself to support Gas City Speedway in 2011.

 

The American Modified Series visits Bloomington (IN) Speedway friday May 13th for a $1,500 to win feature along with UMP Super Stocks,Hornets and Bombers. Bombers weighing 3200 lbs from Brownstown,Paragon and Lincoln Park Speedways are eligable to run this Friday night at Bloomington Speedway. This should be a whale of a show if you like stock cars more over sprint cars. I think its awesome how Bloomington and Gas City Speedways work so well together this allowing both tracks to prosper and flourish in this economy.

 

 Sportsdrome Speedway in Jeffersonville,Indiana hosts the Keep Kool 100 for the Extreme Winged Figure 8 Series. Support classes on Saturday May 14th will be Oval Extreme Cars,Dromer Figure 8's, Front wheel drive oval and figure 8 Divisions plus Mini Cup Cars. Illiana Motor Speedway hosts the JEGS CRA All Star Tour Illiana 100 for CRA Crate Late Models. Twenty nine cars are entered thus far! Montpelier (IN) Motor Speedway will have UMP Modifieds along with Super Streets and make up features for Thundercars and Modlites this Saturday May 14th.
