National Street Rod Association (NSRA) Nationals: 2006 Photos

The NSRA brought its 2006 national convention to the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville for the 12^th consecutive year.  NSRA management reported over 10,000 street rods in attendance.  Mark August 3-6 on your calendar for the 2007 event, as this is the granddaddy of all auto shows.

I was able to visit for parts of two days and that wasn’t enough time.  One can spend days and still not see all the cars and exhibits.  Most are outdoors. Many are parked on display. There’s a constant flow of rods slowly moving around the streets.  You can stand on the sidewalk and watch rods passing non-stop for hours. And the more you see the more you want to see!

When you get hot outside just stroll into the spacious, comfortable exposition center to look at more street rods, plus what appears to be hundreds of exhibitors. Exhibitor booths cater not only to street rods but also to racecars and family vehicles.  In addition to street rods, you can see and buy just about anything automotive from basic parts to high performance engines to complete cars.  I came away with EAGLE ONE product samples that will make my old Buick look like new for years.
