Ray Mauldin drives the #9 Late Model Class car.  His home track is North Alabama Speedway but he can also be found racing at Columbus Speedway and Magnolia Speedway.  He lives in Fulton, MS.

Ray started racing in 1986 in the Street Stock Class at Verona Speedway because he'd been around it his entire life.  His first win was in 1992 in the Super Street Stock Class at Pine Ridge Speedway.  Career highlights include Track Championship in Super Street Class at Pine Ridge Speedway in '94.

The thrill of racing for Ray is the competition and running with the best of the best.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first win after 6 years of trying!  He's most proud of his Track Championship.

Ray's racing hero is Richard Petty.

Of racing, Ray says, "Racing helped me clean up my life and out of trouble!  You gotta go!".
