Tommy Cook drives the #8 Pure Pony Class car.  His home track is River Valley Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunder Valley Speedway, Columbus Speedway, Magnolia Speedway, and Moulton Speedway.  He lives in Jasper, AL.

Team members helping Tommy are:  Harold Cook - Dad and Crew Chief, Louise Cook - Mom - food and filming, Randy Cook , Joe Patilla, Billy Cook, Jackie Pendley, Little Round Man, Wilson Bagwell, Glenn Shepherd, Erin, and all the others who have stopped by with good and bad advice, knowledge, and answers to perplexing questions.  Tommy Cook is the car owner.

Tommy started racing in '04 in the Pure Pony Class at Thunder Valley Speedway to see if he could!  His first win was in '05 in the 4 Cyl Class at Thunder Valley Speedway.  Career highlights include finishing 2nd in '05 in 4 Cyl at Thunder Valley Speedway, 2 wins and 12 top 5's, finishing 3rd in '06 in 4 Cyl Stock at Thunder Valley Speedway, 8 poles, 5 wins, 16 top 5's.

The thrill of racing for Tommy is competing.  His most exciting racing moment was their 2nd win in '05.  He's most proud that he has earned respect of other drivers and race teams for being a clean driver and that they are competitive any time they go out on the track.

Tommy's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Jr.
